Just in a few words I made a appointment and the stylist knew what I wanted done she had the picture and my hair still looked like a beginner braided it I walked out very unhappy just to look back at it I didn't see anyone licensed posted up on the wall or the mirror DHEC need to be in some of these African hair braiding shops to see who's really professional

Very bad customer service. I came for something simple, box braids they were big and sloppy. And she told me to get out with half my hair done. Would not recommend.

The cost for the service was changed and the requested style was not provided. There was a $50 upcharge. Disappointed with the quality of work. The color match is off. Braid that were "midback" are loose strands of hair, which doesn't qualify as a completed braid.Service: Braids

Came here a few years ago and walked out on the verge of tears! When I was 15, unfortunately, due to a careless hairdresser I had lost my hair and had it cut into an extremely short pixie. As if that wasn’t traumatizing enough I started coming to this shop at 17 to get my hair done, trying to get it to grow back. They talked about me like a dog not being aware that I understood what was being said. My first experience there they asked me if I wanted a wash and I told them no bc I had already washed it. This response was met by attitude and the woman talking about me in her native tongue to the other woman saying my hair was dirty. I know it wasn’t bc I wash and rinse 4 times. They brought up my edges every time I sat in the chair not knowing I was suffering from alopecia, and I was already being teased in school for not having edges. I didn’t need it from grown women I didn’t know. I kept going bc it was by the house, I didn’t have a car, and like I said I was 17 so my mom was paying and I didn’t want to tell her. It got so bad that I started bringing headphones. Mimi was the only one that was nice to me so I started going to just her but one day she had someone helping her and they were going in on me and I had enough. I wasn’t paying to be verbally berated. I walked out of there in tears and refuse to go back. I’m not surprised to see the nasty replies being left by the staff when people are describing bad experiences. Accusing the customers of lying or being difficult while quite literally proving the point they are making about the treatment they received. This is why even now I refuse to go back to this shop. You shouldn’t be paying people to verbally abuse you please go elsewhere.Services: Braids

Loved my braids! Took very little time to get 7 braids done and I have a lot of natural 4C hair! I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to find someone who can do braids on natural hair! But best believe the braids are gonna be tight and very pretty!!

I’ve been serviced by Mimi & her staff four times and each time my hair was beautiful and was done in a timely fashion. I’m from up north and use to fast braiding service with good quality. It has been a struggle finding someone who braids my hair the way I like and fast.Service: Twist braids

This place is the bottom of the barrel do not go here to get your head m hair done there’sAfricans ripped out my hair with a small tooth comb and that’s messed up my edges are gone they are unprofessional as hell and the place is dirty
