I had a difficult alteration that I took to a popular place with good ratings near me. I was told it couldn't be done, if the seams were opened up, the material would ravel. I almost gave up and threw the garment away, but I had passed Lee's in the mall and decided to ask them. They suggested a clever way to fix the problem and did the alteration while I shopped. I was afraid it would look bad, but I couldn't even see the new stitching. It looks great!
I brought my wedding dress in for some major alterations, and WOW! I had one of my final visits today and I’m so pleased with their craftsmanship. It fit and looked amazing! 10/10 experience!
I went to 2 other tailors before I found Lee's. They both tried to fix a suit that I had ordered online and told me their alterations were perfect, but when I tried on the suit I could tell it didn't fit right. Lee's saw the suit and immediately started pointing out everything I was feeling, but had trouble describing. Chen turned the pieces inside out and showed me the shotty work from previous tailors. They started working on it right away, removing the sleeves of the jacket, chalking the fabric, and pinning everything. Despite having to modify basically every dimension of the jacket and pants, they had the suit ready for me the next day and it fits great.... read full review
