If Bodhi and Lottie had a fan club, Dr. Kotani would be the president. Haywood Road Animal Hospital takes amazing care of my animals, and Dr. Kotani always treats them like VIPs (Very Important Paws).
The staff is always incredibly polite and welcoming—every visit feels like we’re walking into a place where everyone knows and remembers us. Bonus points for being cost-friendly, because my pets somehow think money grows on trees.
We absolutely love Haywood Road Animal Hospital and couldn’t recommend them more. Bodhi and Lottie leave happy, healthy, and only mildly suspicious of the treat jar—which is a win in my book! 🐾

We felt was port service from dr Amanda she really don’t take time to see our cat only stuff talk about it number I was feel more comfortable if she have time explain more o at lees see our cat stuff only mention they take our cat for check weight and when bring him back they do some test we even see the doctor

This place is amazing!!! I had to reschedule my appointment once-I guess my cat knew it was time for the vet- and they were very understanding and patient. At her appointment, they were so gentle and tender with my cat, they handled her with so much care and compassion and you could tell these people love what they do. The vet was very clear and concise about pricing and cost of potential treatment, and even let me know what times of year certain treatment options are discounted!! Pricing is very fair- even without a discount- and they don’t try to push more treatment on to your pet if you’re not comfortable. Wonderful staff and wonderful work.

Dr Byrd is a true cat vet! (cat vets are HARD to find). My cat had been attacked by a dog. She was very thorough and compassionate without costing me a fortune!!! I cannot thank her enough!! RIP Lily, we will miss you (-;

We are so thankful for Dr. Kenny at Haywood Road Animal Hospital. He and his whole team did such an amazing job of helping us put down our dear family dog of ten years (passed at 14 years). They treated Moshi with such love and care. Dr. Kenny showed such empathy, compassion, and wisdom as he shared the proces before it happened and sat with us through it. Their whole team was respectful and extremely helpful every step along the way. We are so thankful for you!

My cat Risotto was having an urgent issue, and we were new patients- they fit her in the following morning first thing. She's a very anxious cat, and they were so gentle and kind with her that she did better than I've ever seen her do at any other vet. The vet clearly and patiently explained her issue and treatment options to me, and all the staff was friendly and attentive to her. We will ALWAYS come here from now on!

Would recommend!! They got my Snow kitty in right away as he was very sick and worked with me to help him to get him better. The were Warm, Caring and Friendly from reception to the Vet tech and Dr Byrd. Thank you all!! Will be switching all of my pets to them when they are due for their next visits.

Haywood road animal hospital is amazing! Dr. Kotani and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. The front desk is always kind, attentive, and is very quick to get back to you with any information. They always go above and beyond for my two pups. They genuinely care and i can not recommend them enough. I appreciate all the care they have provided princess & tubs!

If I could rate them, I would give them minus 0. It turns out that I took my dog very sick, he was vomiting, he didn't want to eat, he was very weak, I took him here to have him checked, I told the girl who took care of him that I had made the dog give a vaccine towards three days, which I thought was why...ok, they checked it when they brought me the value of the treatment was about a thousand dollars. The veterinarian told me that she feared for my dog's life, because he was in a very bad state and that she should immediately give him some injections, and she believed that I should hospitalize him and leave him there because she believed that he was parvus. I didn't have that money ? I took my dog and treated him at home, I made him eat some chicken soup and the next day he was happy ? and even today's sound. if it was the effect of the vaccine. It seems to me that to make a diagnosis of that magnitude they must be safe, not only by stealing people's money, thus taking advantage of one's fear of not losing their pet, it seems to me to be a very irresponsible act. Thank you.
