The optomap retinal map procedure was a total nightmare for me. First off, NO ONE EXPLAINED what they were about to do to me.
I thought I was there to read letters. They put me in front of a machine and proceeded to blast my eyes with blinding light. It was AWFUL.
Someone should have first at least told me what they were about to do. Had I known my eyes would (surprise, surprise) be blasted with light, and that this procedure was TOTALLY unnecessary for why I came there (I just needed to be sure I’d pass the vision screening at the DMV) I would never have allowed them to do this to me.
I had a splitting headache (this never happens to me) for the rest of the day and my eyes ACHED and were sensitive to light to the point I had to keep a pillow over them. A day later my eyes are recovering but still achy and sensitive to light.
There is NO way this procedure is “harmless”. It definitely harmed me. People should be warned of the potential side effects before agreeing to it. I just pray these are the only side effects from this completely unnecessary procedure that they put me through.
There is no way I’ll ever let anyone do this to me ever again.

My mom ordered glasses back in March and lives 50 minutes away. Came to pick them up and they were the wrong glasses. She reordered and once they came in she drove another 59 minutes and once again the glasses were wrong. They placed the bifocals wrong in each lenses. Twice she had to drive and she’s waited over 6 weeks for glasses that she never got.

Stay away, they hire new doctors fresh out of school that don't really know what they're doing. Additionally they are not flexible and won't work with you at all regarding getting your prescription/contacts.

One pair of my progressive lens glasses are made wrong. Haven't used them due to this. Found out when getting them adjusted to see what the problem was, seeing double. Made wrong and manager won't make it right. I've spent $$$ there. Manager would rather lose two customers than make it right.... Oh well.

I adore America’s Best and have been a loyal patient since my first visit. Today, I need contacts in an emergency - I left them at home in Nashville. Jeremy, Jessica, and Noemi took wonderful care of me with a sense of urgency!

I had a excellent experience at America's Best in Cherrydale. The eye exam was very thorough, professional and efficient, and the entire staff was extremely helpful and personable. I will return here for my future eye care needs!
