I’ve been training with Mike one-on-one for about 6 months and it’s been a great experience. He’s very consistent, professional, and really takes the time to understand your goals. He meets you where you’re at and builds a plan that works for you instead of forcing something generic.
Since working with him, I’ve felt stronger, more confident, and more consistent overall. He keeps you accountable while still being supportive, and you can tell he genuinely cares about your progress. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a personal trainer who’s reliable and easy to work with.

Michael and Allison have nicely curated every step of their business. From the consultation to the onboarding process and the workout sessions to the meal plans, they make sure you are informed and comfortable every step of the way. Everything is customized to you and your goals. I am a beginner and I love how I can just show up and they tell me what I need to do. No guessing, no fluff, just walk in and get to work.

It’s only been 2 weeks working with michael and Ali if you’re are looking for a personal trainer I highly recommend going to 4balance. It’s an awesome experience every time and an even better atmosphere the gym is nice inside and everyone is friendly and helpful. I feel very accomplished when I leave and the sauna is a plus I love it.

Highly recommend. I have been attending 4Balance for about a month now. I was looking for help with toning and strengthening. My schedule is very busy with two kids and work but decided to prioritize time in the gym. So glad to have found Michael and Ali. In the past month I have definitely realized that I am stronger than I thought I was and have also experienced more energy in my day to day life. I love the flexibility of 4Balance. I can adjust my time in the gym based on what my schedule looks like from week to week. I look forward to continued progress!

I've been working out with Mike for a few weeks now and I've really enjoyed it. He knows exactly how part of push me without burning me out. He's also helping me with supplements to get better results.
They are not your typical gym and they're usually aren't very many people there which is nice.

(Over due) UPDATE: I have trained with both Michael and Allie, and I can tell you that they are both amazing! My weight loss and muscle gain have both been consistent since starting. My first 6 weeks I was already down 20lbs and the inbody scans are so helpful in seeing your losses (and gains) each week! The nutrition plan is flexible and easy to follow. The workouts are awesome...I've tried the group trainings/bootcamp type of places, but to me those workouts are generalized, whereas here at 4Balance your workouts are personalized...and THAT is what has made all the difference! Give them a try - you won't regret it!
INITIAL REVIEW: I am writing this review based on my experience so far - and will update in 6 weeks! Now, let me just say that I was completely intimidated to walk into this place. Besides all eyes being on me, two big dogs met me at the door and I wasn't even sure if I should have entered. Yes, I saw a 1-star review as I was doing my research and someone mentioned the dogs. THAT being said, it's true - they do have dogs, but they are sweet and if you're not a dog person then at least you know now that maybe this isn't your place. I was met by Allie who then showed me to Michael's office. This is where the nerves went away. Michael displayed a professional mannerism, seemed to be extremely knowledgeable, and dug in right away with info about fitness, nutrition, and game plans. I received a free InBody scan, which was then discussed in detail and insight was given on things that needed improvement for me to achieve my goals. Now, I say all that, to say THIS: Having a face to face meeting, a full body scan, a gameplan and meal plan (which at the very least was free knowledge to take home) and witnessing some of the training techniques with other members - ALL BEFORE even discussing fees or trying to be pushed into a contract... this showed me that perhaps this establishment is truly about helping people more than just filling their gym. I could have taken the knowledge and ran, however, once we did discuss pricing and plans I was impressed by how affordable it was. So, needless to say, I signed up and I am excited to start with Allie and Michael on Monday! I figured with a 5.0 star rating on Google, the only local gym I found to be accredited by the BBB, and seeing Real member testimonies why not give them a shot, out of all the places I researched between Greenville and Spartanburg!? So, I am making this review before starting, simply in hopes that maybe someone out there, too, wants to start somewhere, but is too intimidated to step inside like I was, and perhaps this review will help them! - Looking forward to my 6-week update! :)

Michael and Alison at 4Balance are making the best, most knowledgeable team, providing the best results. No BS, no new trends one size fits all selling, simply very knowledgeable, accomplished fitness professionals that will work one-on-one with you, will tailor your workouts to your goals, age, weight, etc. and help achieve the results in the best way possible. I loved the meal plan with real food, easy to follow. After not working out in 3 years it was hard for me to restart, but they eased me into it, making it fun. I saw significant results in only 3-4 weeks and now I’m looking forward to the sessions. I highly recommend it!
