The idea of this company is great and I was really hoping to find reliable handyman service; however, my experience with my handyman was not so great. He could not install a light fixture seemingly due to lack of comfort with electrical which is whatever at this point. The majority of my requests involved electrical so... send someone who is super comfortable with that. Unfortunately, he just left the light fixture and the screws laying on the couch. He did install my foyer light but it is covered in debris from the Styrofoam packaging. I didn't remember buying a glittery light. Upon closer inspection, it wasn't glitter at all but little Styrofoam balls. I know his job was not to clean but I would think that one who takes pride in their work would try to wipe the glass down before installing it high in the ceiling. The secondary bedroom ceiling fans were installed with one light switch operating the fan and the other light switch operating the actual light, which is perfect! However, the master bedroom ceiling fan was not. Why? It has the capability but your guess is as good as mine. The previous fan didn't have a light kit which is why I wanted to replace it. My thought is that the handyman just used what was already connected and didn't bother to split. Again that's my theory. And where are the old light fixtures and ceiling fan? MIA. I haven't seen them since they were hanging from the ceiling. I give three stars because he did more than what I could have done on my own. I got this reference from my sister who got it from my cousin, that's three potential customers lost now. My sister's experience was fine but she doesn't remember the technician. My cousin's experience... low and behold, it was the same guy. However; in her situation, the owner was very accommodating and fixed the guy's mistake in hanging her storm door. Now that I know that it was the same guy, I am little nervous about the quality of the work he completed. I hope that everything else was done correctly. A piece of mind is everything! I don't usually post poor reviews but it kind of put a damper on my moving into my new home. I was super excited to see my new light fixtures because lights can really change the tone of a room. You can imagine my disappointment when I saw the spec light still hanging in the dining area. Maybe the handyman just had one of those days... I don't know but I prefer it to not be at my expense. I was given a small credit for him not being able to install the light. I wanted my light installed not the credit so now I have to find someone else to do it. I loved the idea of the one stop shop for jobs. I don't know if I or my family members will use this service again. If I do and the same handyman is assigned, I am cancelling the appointment.

Jonathan got me scheduled quickly for my consultation and then came back out the next day to do the work! A repair that's been siting on my "to do" list for longer than I'd like to admit was handled by Vendor Depot quickly... and perfectly. Highly, highly recommend this team!
