The front desk staff is welcoming and gets patients checked in quickly. Technicians are wonderful, explaining what to expect, and are gentle and reassuring throughout appointments. The facility is spotless and modern. For delivery, the nursing staff and doctors are very friendly and attentive, with beautiful and fresh accommodations in the suites. The staff puts safety first and foremost. In the ED and ICU, all staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate, keeping families informed and reassured. The ER staff shows kindness and compassion during difficult situations. Patients appreciate the patience and kindness shown during procedures like blood work and IVs. Even on a very busy night, staff members are genuine, intentional, and caring, noticing all the little details and treating patients like people. While there can be delays with results, everyone is great overall. The staff makes unbearable situations better with their professionalism and helps soften difficult experiences. Many highly recommend this place for imaging, delivery, and emergency care.
I came in with a kidney stone in SEVERE pain. Dr Jackson got me comfortable and contacted an outside urologist. And somehow managed to get me an appointment later that day at 9am! Nurse Irma- you were amazing also. I can’t say enough good things of this er. (Night and day difference from the main pmc) keep up the awesome work! (And Admin, you need to look out for these guys after the night they had. They were 1000% professional after a very hard situation)
Had a great experience at this location. The facility is brand new, clean, and well-managed. The doctors and nursing staff were compassionate and thorough. So glad Fort Mill finally has a top-tier medical center close by!
A CT scan was ordered for me and scheduled with Fort Mill Hospital. My experience was very positive. The registration personnel were friendly and attentive, and made that process easy. When I was called back for the procedure, the technologist, Elizabeth, introduced herself as she led me through the imaging department to the CT area. Once there, she explained in detail the procedure, what to expect, what I would feel and so forth. She was very thorough with her explanations. In addition, because the order was for a CT with contrast, she had to start an IV. I barely felt the needle stick which is a testament to her skill.
