From the very beginning, Elizabeth was incredibly professional and addressed all my questions with care. I’ll admit, I was quite nervous about purchasing a new puppy, so I found myself constantly emailing and texting her throughout the day during the whole process. I’m sure some of my questions seemed repetitive or even a bit out there, but Elizabeth was always patient and kept the lines of communication open. From the initial email of introduction to the ongoing texts I still send her with “new mom” questions, she has consistently given me her time and attention with the utmost patience. In turn, Elizabeth made me feel confident and more than ready to bring my new bundle of joy home. Throughout the entire process, Southern Yorkies kept me updated on the puppies weight, which allowed me to make an informed decision on the one I felt most comfortable with. Elizabeth’s puppy weight charting was transparent, and she made sure to keep me in the loop with regular pictures and updates every time the puppies were weighed. This truly speak volumes to Elizabeth’s character. She could’ve easily lied and claimed the puppies were smaller than they actually were to make a bigger profit, but instead, she demonstrated incredible integrity and holds herself to the highest standards. She truly cares about each and every one of her puppies, and you can tell by the way she talks about them. Elizabeth knows each puppy inside and out. Even after the pick up process, Southern Yorkies continues to support you in getting your new puppy settled into their home smoothly. Elizabeth also provides a generously filled diaper bag to help you start off on the right foot. The diaper bag is filled with toys, every day essentials, grooming supplies, doggy treats, clothes, potty training, tools, and so many other goodies that I can’t even list them all. This really shows how much Elizabeth goes above and beyond for her puppies. For her, this isn’t just a job – it’s part of her DNA, truly her life‘s work. I couldn’t be happier with my experience or with my new addition to the family (my puppy!). I highly recommend Elizabeth, Southern Yorkies without any hesitation.“

“The owners are such animal lovers and good people. Our dog champ loves going there. We have used her several times and never one issue. The only one I trust with him. She updates me, sends me pictures , and takes such good care of him. It’s also very affordable. I always refer her to others 10 out of 10 recommend .“

“I'm a retired pet sitter (Doggone Purrfect, LLC) and before I retired, my client's dog ran out of insulin while they were gone. The insulin was supposed to be delivered by mail, but it was delayed. To complicate things it was the weekend when I realized I would run out of the insulin on Sunday. The client uses Meadowlawn as their vet, so I called, but they were closed. I took a chance and drove there to leave a note on their door just in case someone came by to feed dogs that were boarded there. Within the hour, Jennifer from Meadowlawn called. She agreed to leave the insulin outside in a cold pack for me to pick up. Problem solved. The owners were relieved. I was relieved. I've been a pet sitter for a very long time, but I've never been in this type of a jam. Jennifer at Meadowlawn saved the day for my pet sitting business, my client, and their very sweet dog. “After trying several groomers in the area, we have finally found “the one”. Just picked up our pups and I’m not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience. For starters, the online booking experience was extremely convenient— I was able to see all of the available appointments which is really helpful because we try to always book both of our dogs at the same time. All of the prices and packages are clearly listed and organized. Our haircut requests for both dogs were honored and they did an amazing job (we have had many, many bad haircuts on our mini Australian Shepherds). Upon pickup, we were presented with a little holiday gift bag which included an ornament with a picture of both dogs and some perfume spray— such a wonderful touch! Their customer service was top-notch throughout the entire experience. We are so happy to have tried The Cottage, our new go-to groomer!!!“
