“I'm a retired pet sitter (Doggone Purrfect, LLC) and before I retired, my client's dog ran out of insulin while they were gone. The insulin was supposed to be delivered by mail, but it was delayed. To complicate things it was the weekend when I realized I would run out of the insulin on Sunday. The client uses Meadowlawn as their vet, so I called, but they were closed. I took a chance and drove there to leave a note on their door just in case someone came by to feed dogs that were boarded there. Within the hour, Jennifer from Meadowlawn called. She agreed to leave the insulin outside in a cold pack for me to pick up. Problem solved. The owners were relieved. I was relieved. I've been a pet sitter for a very long time, but I've never been in this type of a jam. Jennifer at Meadowlawn saved the day for my pet sitting business, my client, and their very sweet dog.
