I needed a m.2 standoff screw that i lost from my old pc parts after spending over 200 dollars on some nice ram and and m.2 ssd at Best Buy. I went back to Best Buy and asked if they could get me a screw from their defect pcs that get thrown away. This screw is smaller than my pinky nail and not even a product Best Buy sells (unless you consider the ones that come in the overpriced prebuilts they sell) They told me theyv could not get one for me because it is a corporate policy. Seriously?
I went to That Computer Store and was greeted by 3 happy workers. Me and one of the guys walk maybe 25 feet to the counter, he pulls out a whole bag of m.2 standoff... read full review

So this is going to be long. I bought a computer from them 10 damn years ago. I can't believe it has been that long. It was liquid cooled, gaming cube compact but my god has it lasted this long is beyond me. Sure I don't have the hottest 4K video super duper resolution and all my specs these days are mid. It was however my travel computer it has been to 40 freaking states, been abuse shaken smacked around in hotels etc. I have added another hard drive and did upgrade the video card along the way, but the mother board is still running without issues and only needed one paste redo so far.

This place reminds me of the quality privately owned businesses in the small town I grew up in. From the design of the shop, to the stellar customer experience and product selection, there’s something here for everyone. They have dozens of arcade classics on free play, and the tournaments for games are always well run and a real joy in a world that feels bleak.
