Despite several phone calls telling SC Peds we are appealing a bill with our health insurance company, and their acknowledging that our account is in the appeal process, they continue to text and email us bills.
Our family loves Palmetto Peds (it appears that they have changed their name to SC Pediatric Alliance, but they still have the same doctors). Dr. Cabiness is amazing. He has been our kids doctor for a long time and he is a wonderful doctor. He has helped our family more than he knows.
I found this place to be extremely rude. It took over a month to get an appointment when we first came here. The receptionists are always talking to each other, see you standing there and ignore you. After 3 visits and every time giving them my insurance card, they charged me as no insurance and tried to make me pay the full amount and claimed I never gave them anything. One of the nurses is very rude. I have 2 small toddlers, they made us wait over an hour for one appointment. my toddlers got restless and started making noise and they came in and were rude saying I need to get better control over 2 toddlers that are forced to sit in the tiny room for over an hour waiting for the doctor. The nurse is always rude and argues with me. Every visit they have no information on my child's medication. Extremely unprofessional. Whenever I come in about a problem with my child, Dr. Page talks over me very short with me, rude towards my toddlers. Refuses to look into things we came in for and instead tries to sell me some equipment that I don't want.
