I can't begin to say enough good things about the Instructors at this school. Coming from someone whose first time in a truck that big felt like a spaceship. Or my closest thought to one. To being able to parallel park a 53ft. trailer!! They are amazing. I recommend the night classes. It's a longer class but it's worth it. It's not a daycare so they won't hold your hand. But if you want it they are guaranteed to steer you in the right direction. To everyone who was involved Mr. Price, Webb, Nelson, Rob, and Mr. Greg, God bless you all. Y'all are changing lives! The best decision I ever made hands down. P.S. Mr Price don't play about them logs!! Keep em right!!

Awesomeness experience to help with obtaining your CDL. It takes consistency and the eagerness to make your weakness your strengths. There are 4 major segments you have to capitalize in. Become proficient in all to become the best. You can recite the in cab and pre trip steps to your classmates and the more it’s done I can guarantee your level of locating those parts will be easier. Don’t get scared to go FIRST when it’s time to perform the skills section. I used to be like that and eventually got out of that vibe to be the 1st one up because that confidence level was up. Once you retain information on your reference points the less there will be a poor performance....read full review

I just got my cdl through 160 academy...This is the right place to go if you want to start a career in trucking.Great instructors to teach you all you need to know. When u get on the yard, either by your self or with a team, practice your incab and outside pre trip inspection over and over....Just do your part with having the ability to learn and pay attention and the instructors will do their part...it isn't a daycare...they will not babysit you...either you want it or you dont.
