“It was very nice, clean, and the staff were all so kind. Very pricey IMO. I only got a Mami/Pedi with gel only on my hands and regular polish on my feet. With a $15 tip, my total was closer to $150 than $125..... I found it quite pricey for something so basic, but I usually do things myself but I was treated by my wonderful hubby so I decided to go out. My point is I don't usually go out but the last time I did was within the last 6 months and it was like under $100. Idk what's normal. Good work though!“

“Just happened to be in the area and had a "free" day so decided to get my hair cut. I found this salon on Yelp and decided to run with it. I called and made an appointment with Melissa and it was the best decision I could have made! The salon is precisely what you would expect (and more) for Charleston. It's adorable and neat as a pin. I have long and extremely thick hair so it's really a job to manage it. Melissa washed cut and blew out my hair and the result was terrific. To top it off, she braided it to help a little with the sweltering heat & humidity the Charleston area is famous for. She took her time and kept checking to make sure it would turn out exactly as I requested. She did not leave me waiting in her chair to begin and never left to answer the phone or do anything else as I've experienced at other salons. Even though I was a complete stranger, she was so kind, warm and genuinely intent on making me happy, I felt like I had been a client for the last ten years by the time I walked out. I really don't think you could ask for any more from the experience I had especially considering it started as a random choice. There were two other ladies cutting hair (Only 3 chairs that I saw) so it's a small salon but all three chairs were full. I can only speak for Melissa and honestly could not recommend her or the salon any higher. I am not a big "reviewer" but Melissa and the salon deserve this because it's clear they both work overtime to make sure their customers are happy (which is rare these days). My only complaint is that I do not live closer but I will make time to return when I can!“
