From stepping into the salon, Jo and the other stylists made me feel at home and excited for my new haircut. Usually, I prefer to do my own hair, but Jo gave me complete creative control and exceeded my expectations. Her recommendations were spot on. The entire visit felt like seeing an old friend. Extremely LGBTQ+ friendly, very affirming, and alltogether an excellent hair experience.

Joanna Katz Chronister was one of the few hair professionals at a St. Baldrick's Day event where people (including me!!) raise money for childhood cancer research. THAT is giving back to the community. This is a woman who is not only a talented and impressively experienced stylist, but also is an advocate for multiple causes. Who would have thought that style comes into play when shaving one's head!!?!! Joanna put a heart on the back of my bald head! Her heart warms my soul. Make an appointment! You will not be disappointed.
