I picked the company with the highest ratings for the area, but that doesn’t really seem to mean much. My system is finally fixed after several visits, 19 days, almost $8k, multiple arguments to try to get them to “fix” their work. All during this time we heard we needed a new system because it’s struggling to keep up or “an 8-year-old system just doesn’t last as long as they used to.” The first technician couldn’t figure out the cause of condensation in the attic. Stop looking and give them a call, there is no one better in Charleston - NO ONE. Over the course of 2 weeks, we took proposals to replace our HVAC system and water heater. Only one other company came into consideration once over 10 proposals were received. From proposal to installation the entire process was flawless. Everything was timely and exactly as proposed. No hidden fees or extra cost surprises at installation. They were timely and respectful of our property too. Usually even if you can get a great price, installation of any project will lead to something being damaged. Micah with Climate Control was very prompt and thorough with their inspection of our heat pump, duct work and wiring. Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Pricing is consistent with other like companies. Would definitely recommend them.
