Southern Equine Service is an absolutely amazing facility and staff, considered one of the best vets around. The practice is professional, caring, and compassionate, with a super clean campus. Veterinarians take a lot of time with people and horses, giving detailed updates and explaining everything clearly. They are known for going above and beyond, even in emergencies or after hours for non-current clients, demonstrating true care. The supportive and accommodating team handles cases with compassion, from severe colic to specialized needs, ensuring animals are treated and can return home healthy. Clients report being incredibly pleased, impressed, and thrilled with the experience, finding the service hard to find now a days. The practice inspires complete trust, with many choosing to switch all their horses' needs to them.
I love the place! They make me feel my horses are going to be well cared for. Recently my horse Daisy almost lost her eye, it’s still healing slowly but surely. They even gave us tips to fatten up my personal horse Luna. I am very thankful for them. They helped my family’s ex horse Bandit with his stifle while we lived in Georgia at the time. I definitely recommend this place to help other’s horses!
Dr Thompson came out today for what ended up being a minor eye allergy. It scared me at first but I was grateful for her time and professionalism and not making me feel silly for calling for a minor allergy. The staff even met me at the door when I needed to go pick meds because she was out of them on the truck. Very thankful they took it seriously and my girl is fine. Thank you for your time on a busy Saturday!!!
