Like the last reviews stated ....Avoid this place like the plague! The ONLY positive here was Dr Poppy- (Temp Dr) was kind. Had to wait nearly an hour to be seen at 1 visit and the reason was understandable, but it would be nice if someone came in to explain what was happening. They charged over $600 for a splinter in my dogs foot - and they STILL didn't fix her so I took her elsewhere and got it fixed with 1 visit of surgery and all for $500. They ordered expensive, non- necessary blood work for the splinter and gave antibiotics. Hitchcock was only wanting money and other than Dr Poppy, no one cared in the least. Run, don't walk! Get away.

They demand vaccines you don't want to give They are aggressive about it & threaten not to treat your pet if you don't comply. that only care about the money & talk to clients like trash. NEVER WILL I or my family Ever go to them again. I truly don't know why they are still open .

Avoid this place at all costs!! I took my dog here today and was spoken to very aggressively about his vaccinations. I said something to the vet and was told, “I’m sorry you perceived it that way.” That is not an apology. That’s the same as saying - that’s a you problem. I said something to the vet about it not being an apology and that it was actually very condescending. My husband ended up taking over for me as I was frustrated. I went home but not until I left a 1 Star review. They scheduled him for a procedure tomorrow to fix a large wound. Imagine my surprise when they called at 530 to say they’d only see him if I removed my review. I’m not removing my review. It’s the truth. And it’s what happened. Now they have responded to my Google review saying they will only see him if I remove my review. Mind you - you already took $900 from me. This is not how you run a business. This is not how you speak to the people that keep you in business. And apparently, they’re like this to everyone about vaccinations. I’ve shared my experience online and am getting tons of comments with people experiencing the same treatment. I never yelled or cussed at them. I was direct in telling her that wasn’t an apology.

Avoid this office!! I posted a review today over something that happened in this office while I took my injured dog. They called us today at 530 PM and said they’d only see him tomorrow for a general anesthesia if I removed my 1 star review. Then they responded and said I was verbally abusive. This is far from the truth. I told the doctor that the apology she tried to give was not N apology and was in fact rude and condescending. They now say I’m verbally abusive because of my experience.
I do have most of the conversation recorded. You know, the one where you said you understood I was emotional but would only see him tomorrow if I removed my review.

Avoid this place at all costs! They are very rude, condescending, and only care about the money.
We came today to this vet seeking care for our wounded dog. The tech was very rude and aggressive about my dog’s lack of vet visits since 2023. Mind you, I’ve only had this dog for less than a year. We acquired him from our neighbors. When I said something to the vet, I’m told …. I’m sorry it was perceived that way. That statement is not an apology. That’s a condescending response to say, that’s a you problem. Then - they plan to schedule surgery for tomorrow. But wait - they want to charge me to do bloodwork to make sure he’s a good candidate after it’s determined he’s stable and needs NEEDS stitches. He needs the stitches. Why would it ever matter if he’s a candidate or not? If that’s what he needs to make sure he can go on to live a happy life, why does it matter. It’s just another way to take more money from people.
So - if you work hard for your money and don’t want to be nickel and dimed, talked down to, or be treated like just another body in the door - find a different vet!

Ms.Poppy is an amazing vet genuinely one of the best experiences I've ever had with a vet she's so sweet and explains everything even when it sounds stupid

We lost our fur baby today, and the hospital was very kind with the process. Dr. Poppy and the staff kept everything quiet, they fulfilled all my weird requests, and explained the process with kindness. I am grateful the staff is so caring. You know they truly love animals. My baby went knowing he was safe.
