“Always the most fabulous experience! Love how Raina takes special care of my hair. It’s always vibrant, silky and super healthy. And did I mention no wait time ?? You walk in and it’s a private appointment. Your journey begins with an invigorating wash and sometimes even a light steam treatment. It’s like a day spa for your hair. Raina always explains what products are being used and the condition of your hair. Like a hair check up. I typically get a silk press with clip ins for length. I have not had a relaxer in over 18 yrs, and let me tell you how straight she makes my hair without using unsafe levels of heat!! She spends her whole time only taking care of my hair. No breaks, other clients, or distractions. She gets to know you and engages in healthy conversation! So very therapeutic. Your hair lasts. I’m very active but I don’t have to worry about it frizzing or poofing for weeks! Amazing! And most of all, I love that she is very spiritual, caring and compassionate and she always has contemporary Christian music playing in the background! I encourage you to check her out! “I live in Florida and I am here in Aiken for work and I needed my hair cut, since I have not had it cut in 6 months, I decided to try Appearances Hair and Nail Salon and even though right now its by appointment only, Teena was able to take me then, but because they are a cash only business I had to run up to the bank. I am extremely pleased with the service I received. Very professional, friendly and Teena listened to how I wanted to get my hair cut. I can not get my hair cut in Florida like Teena did for me and I have tried many stylist. I highly recommend and highly recommend Teena for all your hair needs. I will be back to Aiken in late December to early January and I will definitely be making a appointment with Teena.“

She is such a sweetheart, always talking to me throughout the appointment.
