Let me start off by thanking R. E. Coogan Heating Inc.! My old inefficient gas converted boiler unit stoped working on Christmas Eve. After trying to replace a couple parts to no avail, I decided to call a couple local companies and without hesitation Robert Coogan started to get the ball rolling on helping my wife and I out. Within 2 days before the cold coming in, Robert and his guys took away my old boiler and hot water tank and replaced it with this fine Navien High Efficiency system. Going from a bulky boiler and tank to a beautiful looking unit on a a wall opened up more space in the basement. I can’t thank him enough. If you’re ever in a a situation with having no heat or hot water, please Give Robert and his guys a call at R. E Coogan Heating Inc. He will have your house nice and warm as fast as he can. Constant with updates of what they are doing and how it’s going. Again can’t thank him and his company enough.

I would highly recommend R.E. Coogan to everyone and especially Veterans. As a veteran, I will say Bob still keeps his business running like the military. His work is honest and neat. He won’t give you one price and if he needs to make changes, he will let you know before doing the work and will explain in full details why! I met Bob a few years ago at a veteran evebt and wish I did before I had my Central AC installed in 2014. When we had the mini heat wave in April of 2023, my unit stopped working on the second day, I called him up to look at my unit. It turns out I learned a valuable lesson, don’t always go with the cheapest price. The contractor who is no longer business that installed my original Central AC, gave me a piece of junk. A member of his team came out and tested my unit old AC unit, did all the tests to see if he could fix it. He told me based on the tests, it would be just as much to fix it as replacing it with a better new quality unit. The member also showed me how the previous contractor ran all the duct work in the attic the wrong way. I decided to take his advice and looo into the new system. Bob came out himself and explained the best option for me, went over all the details on his Rheem AC along with the LG Ductless Mini Split. He told me about the rebates and if I keep up with yearly maintenance on the units, I will get a long life out of both units. His crew showed up, they were very professional and neat just like we are trained in the military. They also found some bad work the previous contractor made and showed me which could have led to a serious accident happening soon. His crew fixed that issue without charging me. Most companies would find anyway to increase the price. I like how R.E. Coogan is a veteran owned business who still keeps the military core values and will give him a 5 Star rating even if it won’t appear as one !
