The woman that braided my hair was friendly enough, but seemed more invested in the phone call she was on while braiding my hair. The middle part in my braids was uneven and the braids are extremely tight.
I have been coming to this store for more than 10 years because of her abundant stock , welcoming atmosphere and low prices ! The owner is very helpful and will answer any questions asked ! Tell your friends that this is the ONLY place to buy your hair care products and get your hair braided at !
I have been going to Mariama's store for over 30 years she is one of the few if not ONLY black owned beauty supply stores in Providence.. She is very knowledgeable on all products in the store unlike other places and the perk is most of the time... same day braiding services are available if you come with the style you want and your hair washed and ready!! I highly recommend this place she is a veteran and braids are always on point!!
