Jon richard salon in Providece is beautiful clean and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I see the stylist Desirae who I would follow to the ends of the earth for. She has been doing my hair for years and was sent from the hair dresser gods. She makes me feel like I am Beyonce when I leave I feel confident and beautiful. She makes amazing suggestions to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. She is amazing to talk to professional and flexiable with her schedule. She takes her time but I never feel like I have been there to long. I’ve been seeing Desirae at Jon Richard Salon in Providence for over 3 years. My hair is very thick but fine and super curly (ie it’s complicated). I’ve searched high and low for decades for a stylist who really understands my hair and am so glad I found Dez. My cut and color is always exactly what I’m looking for. She is the only stylist that has been able to blow my hair out so well that I don’t need to go home and fix it (something I didn’t think was possible!). I've been going to Desirae for years. I followed her over to Providence with no regrets. The salon is in a great location for and shopping and meeting friends for lunch/dinner and drinks. There is a great coffee shop next door. Desirae is professional and a color expert. You may not like it but she will not do anything to your hair that may be damaging. I'm an older women with course gray thinning hair. I was always a blonde but that was just not healthy for my hair anymore, I let Desirae do her magic.
