I was on the OR bed waiting to have the cataract in my left eye removed, but when the surgeon placed the overhead light in my face, she said that she couldn’t perform the surgery because my pupil was still moving and I would need to see Dr Gupta. She made an appointment with Dr Gupta for me or I made it. She and I had a follow up in the meantime. She explained that my zonules were stretched making my capsule unsteady, and that I would have to see Dr Jane Cook because my condition is her area of expertise. Excellent results from my cataract surgery. Dr Cook explained my options and suggested the one she felt was best for me- which was not the most expensive option. I wanted the best distance vision and now have it: 20-20 in both eyes. Dr Cook is very focused and very bright. I had seen earlier reviews about bedside manners, but saw zero evidence of any issues. Highly recommend Dr Cook.
Dr Cook was excellent. She did my catarac surgery on both eyes. I have the light adjustable Lens. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I found Dr Cook to be very patient and compassionate.
