My family experienced and apartment fire back in December 2025 just before Christmas. The Local American Red Cross volunteers were there, helped us with toiletries, blankets, stuffed animals for the children and immediate financial assistance. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me multiple options for immediate cash assistance. Thank you to all of the volunteers and please keep up the good work.

I am deeply grateful to the Rhode Island Red Cross for their invaluable assistance following the devastating fire at my property on December 3. Their prompt support provided financial aid to my 14 tenants during this challenging time. While the monetary assistance may not have been substantial, it offered much-needed relief and comfort to those affected. The compassion and dedication demonstrated by the Red Cross volunteers were truly commendable, and their efforts made a significant difference in our recovery process. Thank you for being a beacon of hope in our community.

I was blown away by the fabulous trio from the RI American Red Cross who came to my house today to install a smoke detector/bed shaker so that I (with a cochlear implant in one ear and a hearing aid in the other) have the proper safety mechanisms in place in case of a fire. All of this, including the kindness, professionalism and capability, was free of charge. I'll be making a contribution in thanks for this wonderful service.
