The cuts she gives are great always so kind and caring I also have no problem getting an appointment even if I call on the same day that I want to get in. I have been going there for 6 years
Sep 2012
I stumbled into this place because I had finally had it with my hair, it looked horrible. I am one of those people who wait until the very last minute to get a haircut. That, and I really don't like paying a lot of money for one. I have had expensive haircuts and coloring before only to be left most of the time regretting it. Whenever I move somewhere new I try and find a good, decently priced place to get my hair cut near home and that is EXACTLY what I found here. It's a small shop located next to a liquor store and a fish market, just my style. Walked in on a Sunday the place was dead and there was one woman presumably the owner sitting around dying her roots. She greeted me warmly and asked if I minded if she did what I needed while her color finished saturating. It didn't bother me in the least. My hair is very very fine so it often looks flat and doesn't hold style, she seemed to understand exactly what I needed even with my vague explanation. She set to work asking me the entire way if I wanted more off and if it looked how I wanted. It had to be one of the best hair cuts I have ever gotten. Sure beat the $60-70 ones I have had in the past. I like that she washed my hair at the end as opposed to the beginning getting all the loose hairs out so I wouldn't have to shower when I got home. She styled it too! All for a mere $20.00. Unfortunately they don't take debit/credit which I didn't find out until the end but she happily understood when I had to take a quick trip to the bank. I will be getting all my hair cuts there from now on.
