I completely disagree with the negative reviews for Jestings.
I'm a general contractor and use Jesting's for many of my projects. I've never had any issues during rough phase or the finish inspections. My clients are always satisfied with the work. I am fully responsible for their work on my projects so their work must always pass my inspection first. Very seldom do I have any issues with their work. The occasional time I do have an issue, it is usually a simple aesthetic problem which is promptly addressed without excuses or debate. Their guys are well-trained in code and procedure.

Recently my CO alarm went off and called a 24/7 company on a Saturday. The tech showed up. took one reading and declared my gas boiler dead- and handed me a $17k quote for a replacement. After freaking out for the weekend, on Monday I Called Don Jestings & Sons.
Nancy was awesome and really understanding. Jim and Tom came out to take a look. They actually took the time to open the boiler and look at it, rather than just call it dead. Turned out to be an easy fix for these Pros and now my boiler is running perfectly! I am so thrilled that these guys were so skilled and professional enough to diagnose the problem rather than just try to sell me a new unit.

Used services of Don Jestings & Sons for many years when I lived in Portsmouth and Tiverton. I renovate homes and found they were most accommodating in scheduling even when they were overwhelmed with work. I know as customers we sometimes must wait our turn but once my repairs or new wiring was done with expertise and wonderful, helpful attitude I would have to acknowledge they were well worth any wait time.
