“I've got to say, I'm highly impressed w/ Dr. Paolucci. My wife went in today to have hear teeth looked at.. Like many of us, (myself included) she wasn't a huge fan of going to the dentist.. .She said that Dr. Paolucci was an absolute saint. The fact that they are willing to make/take "payment plans" says a-lot... At-least to me it does. My wife called them last week and explained that her previous dentist dropped her insurance and she would have to pay out of pocket.. We called Dr. Paoluccis office and was able to get her in to see them in about a week.. They say things happen for a reason.. If things didn't work out the way they did, my wife wouldn't have met Dr. P. Staff was kind, eager to answer questions, and explained things... “Parking is right next to the building and entrance is in front of the building. I made the appointment within a day due to an emergency tooth pain. When you walk into the clinic, you're met with the friendliest receptionist. The clinic itself is located on the bottom floor/basement. The wait time was about 10-15 minutes and they get you in almost right away. The dental hygienist is the friendliest person also. She makes conversations with you, tries to get to know you, and tries to make you feel comfortable. If you don't want to talk she's good with that too. All while she's establishing good rapport with you, she's taking care of the dental cleaning and assisting the doctor with the procedure. She attended to my needs and ensured I was comfortable and pain-free. Dr. Rubinstein herself is nice also. She attended to multiple patients at once with ease. With all the needles and drills going inside my gums, I felt absolutely no pain during and after the procedure. I was anxious about my treatment but this clinic revived my hope in getting dental procedures again. After the appointment, they get all my requests done in a timely manner. If you have any urgent needs and are in the Providence area, Dr. Rubinstein and Ducoff's clinic is a good spot to establish dental care.“

“Wish I had come here years ago!!! My husband has been a client of Dr. Yousef for several years. He normally goes for cleaning and hasn't been to too many dental offices in his lifetime. He used to be one of those people who avoided seeing the dentist unless there's pain. He thinks they're all the same, but they're not! My previous dentist would point out certain problems, like a chipped tooth and receding gum lines but never bothered to suggest any treatments other than an expensive mouth guard to keep me from grinding my teeth at night. It really annoyed me that he made a joke about my chipped tooth. One of my fillings started to wear down and became sharp like a dull saw. Luckily my previous dental office had a long wait for openings and I managed to book an appointment with Dr. Yousef for an earlier appointment! After a cleaning and assessment, he noticed my chipped tooth, receding gum line and immediately had treatment plans in mind. Dr. Yousef fixed my chipped tooth, smoothed down my chain saw molar, and filled in the deep recesses of my receding gum lines, which would avoid Gum Graft Surgery in the future. He did all of this in less than one hour!!! I was amazed!!! Also, I love that he's polite and respectful and doesn't make stupid jokes like my previous dentist, even though he's not a very talkative man. Btw...I opted for no local anesthesia because I hate having a numb mouth for hours. I really appreciated how gentle, quick, and efficient he was. The dental hygienists and front desk people are also very nice. Highly recommend Family & Cosmetic Dentistry!“

“I went to Dr. Barr when I moved to Providence many years ago because he was close to home and work, and just stayed because I never had a reason to leave. and everyone was friendly and competent. Over the years I came to appreciate that reliability, and Dr. Barr was always a great professional. I should have written a five-star review a long time ago, not that the office would have needed it. The practice was sold recently to someone called Katherine Burton, who I've never seen. I have seen one of the other Dentists there, who is young and eager and seems knowledgeable. I do find the bedside manner not quite filling Dr. Barr's shoes, although I suppose that's something that comes with time. Other things have changed, too: the front desk staff, who I always liked, and I've had to trundle out to the other office in North Prov a few times because they couldn't reschedule me on South Main. None of which is a deal-killer, and I guess if I walked in the door today I wouldn't think much of it, but, I don't know, it's just the way my trust in the practice has been lowered just a bit that feels uncomfortable, somehow.“
