Had an 11 o clock appointment on March 12 2024 told them I needed to be back at work promptly by 12:30. Assured me I'd be back with plenty time to spare. Never updated me that the doctor was behind seeing patients as time continued to pass didn't get me back until 11:55 front desk was very unprofessional. I was subsequently late back to my professional career. Later that day returned to get lenses with my new prescription. Another woman behind the counter was also rude and unprofessional told me my insurance didn't cover it even though it does. Never even bothered to look it up despite me telling her I am covered. The government alleged that, during the roughly five-year period between January 1, 2013, through December 31, 2017, Dr. Koch, Koch Eye Associates and Claris Vision, paid financial kickbacks to referring optometrists whose patients elected to receive laser-assisted cataract surgery, for which patients paid up to $2,900 out-of-pocket per eye.
