We just got married May 20! It was an amazing day, in large part due to my fantastic hair and makeup artists, McKenzie Enright and Amanda Melo (done at Salon Bianco). I live in Federal Hill so discovered McKenzie at Salon Bianco, and she put me at ease immediately, which I knew would help on my wedding day. She recommended Amanda Melo for makeup, as McKenzie is in the wedding industry and used Amanda for her own recent wedding, and said she was the best in the business. I could not agree more! Both McKenzie and Amanda were kind and calming be with, and more importantly, they were meticulous and made sure my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted and looked perfect. I felt beautiful. The best thing was that everything held up all 12 hours despite running around in the rain for photos for two hours in the afternoon. I honestly don’t know how they did it, but my photos at the end of the night were just as good as my photos at the beginning of the day.
Amanda was everything I was looking for in a makeup artist and more!!! She was early to the hotel and got started right away. Our original wedding date was postponed in 2020, and Amanda did everything she could to accommodate us. Living in Florida made it harder for me to coordinate different parts of our wedding but Amanda made that super easy. She responded fast to all of my questions and made the process so smooth! I don’t ever wear a lot of makeup, but everything Amanda did for me made me feel confident and beautiful! I love all of the photos from that day! My makeup lasted all day and night…even into the after party! I would recommend Modmakeup to anyone in need of a gorgeous look for an event or photos!
Amanda was so easy to work with and I would recommend to anyone! Her professionalism, timely response times, sparkling personality, and beautiful work made our wedding day so much more beautiful.
