“I have been going to shimmer salon every 6 to 8 weeks for the past 5 years to get my hair colored by Kate. Shes an amazing colorist and never fails to do me hair exactly how I ask. My hair falls a couple inches below my shoulders and I usually get a half head of highlights with a lowlights, followed by toner, deep conditioning treatment, cut and blowout for $175 plus tip. The price is way more reasonable for the same quality and result Ive had from other salons like Moss and John bacon who charged significantly more. At shimmer you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot they are located on a sizeable lot. They offer water or wine while getting your hair done and all the ladies are wonderful. I love that Kate always works with my schedule and gets me out in under 2.5 hours- highlights can be time consuming as you know. If your looking for a higher end salon without the crazy price tag then shimmer is the place to go... and its right in the heart of east greenwich.
My hair was pretty damaged a few years ago from the over processing and wrong hair colorists until I met Kate who helped restore my hairs shine and healthy appearance even as my hair ages.
