“Earlier this winter I had a problem with water dripping from the ceiling in the lobby. A quick check showed that it was not my roof (whew) but the ventilation system that came with the house. I didn't want any temporary DIY type solutions, so I checked Google for nearby services and found ThermoLux. They wasted no time in sending a specialist to find the real cause (next morning). The price was good, the proposed repair date close enough (within the week in fact!) that I could sleep at night while waiting for the repair. On the day of the repairs, a team of two people came to replace the thermal insulation; they explained in detail what they did and why, how it solved my problem and also answered all my related questions. Having had some... let's say interesting experience with other services around the yard and home, I was really impressed by the effectiveness of ThermoLux. Today, it has been about a month since the repairs ― confirmed problem solved, no moisture in the spot!Home problems are unpleasant and usually expensive to fix, but they can't all be avoided, so when it comes to ventilation and air conditioning, I know who I'll contact if I have another problem.P.S. “It was very easy to communicate and organize a service call. The team was able to clean my duct from the inside but unfortunately couldn’t get the clog completely clear because they need to investigate the exterior vent. Since the vent is very high, it requires a scaffolding and the work needs to be done in warm weather so that the caulking can dry.The team seems very knowledgeable but my advice is to understand the costs associated with any possible outcome so that you can budget appropriately.“
