Honestly very disappointed. I found a cat 2 weeks ago, came in for a general appointment, literally didnt do anything. She has a uti two weeks later and they want me to pay again a consultation and won’t give me a price for doing the uti test. Really disappointed, they seem pretty money driven.

Every visit with Fred is always so smooth and the staff are very friendly, they listen carefully to all concerns and make sure they are addressed with ease. Dr.Dunbar is the best, she really cares for Fred and makes sure everything is well with him. I would highly recommend pierrefonds animal to anyone with pets!!

Greeted warmly at reception. Wait time minimal. Appointment time was respected within a few minutes. The doctor greeted me and my dog when he entered the examination room. He was very pleasant and was quick to make sure that me and my dog were comfortable. He took his time to explain all the details of his examination and was very kind and patient with my dog in doing his best to calm her fears. Great experience. 10 on 10.

I brought my dog to Vet et Nous Pierrefonds when he was in terrible condition. He was trembling, restless, and having liquid diarrhea every 2 hours. He was visibly unwell right there on their floor. I explained that he had likely parasites and urgently needed Panacur. Instead of helping, the receptionist insisted that they wouldn’t treat him unless I paid for tests first—tests that they openly said would take days to get results. Meanwhile, my dog clearly needed immediate relief.
I explained that waiting wasn’t an option and asked if they could at least try a course of Panacur in the meantime. They refused and told me they couldn’t do anything for him. I ended up calling a different vet who gave us Panacur right away with no issues. My dog is now improving, which confirmed that those tests would not have changed the treatment he needed today.
This place seems more focused on charging for unnecessary procedures than actually helping animals in distress. I will not be returning to Vet et Nous Pierrefonds, and I do not recommend them to anyone who expects compassion and urgency when their pet is suffering.
