“Had my cat spayed + chipped through the best friends spay and neuter clinic four years ago, was affordable and easy to schedule.
Recently went here to take her to her first check-up (she had been under the care of my parents before now), and was worried about the cost as I’ve never been to a vet alone before. I scheduled the appointment by phone about three weeks prior, and they had asked for a 99$ deposit (115$ total). Didn’t have to wait for very long (only about 20 minutes), and the Dr. was very gentle with my cat. Very quick visit where he took her weight, suggested and then gave her vaccine booster shots, commented on her coat and noted that her teeth needed cleaning. Hadn’t realized this until I paid, but the deposit covered the entire visit safe for the booster shots he administered. Clinic is a bit out of my way coming from Vaudreuil, but I’ve had some absolutely nightmare experiences with vets growing up, so I hope to stick with this one unless the quality of care declines.“
