The Home Depot stores are open, following security and social distancing measures, and committed to local regulations. Customers are encouraged to check the status of online orders to reduce in-store traffic.
This store is usually quieter in the evenings on weekdays, with knowledgeable staff ready to assist. Weekends tend to be busier. A diverse selection of products is available for most home improvement needs.
The rental department is noted for its patient and knowledgeable employees, who provide excellent service.
Many customers have reported positive experiences at the Beaubien West location. One customer mentioned that despite a long public transit trip and out-of-stock summer items, the staff worked hard to retrieve a desired pest control product, demonstrating outstanding customer service. The staff's professionalism and cheerful attitude were appreciated, even during the challenges faced.
Another customer expressed satisfaction with the help received from Amine at customer support during major renovations and thanked Diane in the garden department for her assistance with backyard re-landscaping. The store has been described as a "candy store" for DIY enthusiasts, with everything needed for home projects readily available.
Additionally, delivery services are offered for purchases above a certain amount, with one customer noting satisfaction with the delivery despite a long wait. Some funky deals and fully loaded with everything and nothing, just average Home Depot store, on the lower end of average.
Younger associates, employees, are more appreciating time spending with their phones and in groups with colleagues, then dedicate their time to clients and customers. Most of the Aisles are blocked by some steppers and forklifts, kinda inaccessible.
As a general contractor I visit a lot of big box hardware stores. This location of the Home Depot is the best in the montreal area. Their pro desk is helpful knowledgeable and friendly.
I visited the store a few weeks ago to buy a new washer/dryer, and Malek was super helpful and knowledgeable! He explained me the differences of the brands and helped me navigate all the options with clarity. I had many questions, and Malek was extremely patient and kind. If all your workers are like Malek, you are doing great!
