I called to have a door closer installed.
- Advice, over the phone, very practical
- Fast. They came the next day with the correct parts thanks to the photos provided.
- Employees: super friendly. Even the French which was in training ?
- Result: installation in less than 30 minutes. Impeccable installation. Well-fitted door closer. Perfect.
- Price: we are in an inflationary context but it seems very good!
The video is with an old door. The door closer is new. The problem was a tenant who never closed the door. Problem solved!

Other serruiers like Canadian Tire did 2 times a bad copy of my keys and even tho I was refunded they still made me waste my time... but this guys "Serruiers Amherst" are the best ❤️ they speak English and French! This detail I found very demure very considerate ✨ and even tho it seemed them to had my job done (mailbox key copy) within in seconds, they still did a second inspection to make sure everything was fine... I am totally satisfied ☺️
Really very professional and serious. I had my front door lock changed. According to a well-known locksmith in Laurier who I won't name, I got it for $1,200. With Hamerst locksmith I paid less than half, with a very competent person who explained to me well what he was going to do and the work was impeccable. I highly recommend them for their honesty and kindness.
