Been going there since the seventies (Bishop). Very happy to know that I can walk in and discover or reacquaint myself with old favourites. Last year I got a fair price on cd’s I wanted to unload. Of course I bought some albums with the cash!
My go-to spot for record shopping in the city, they have a great selection to choose from. I've found many records used or new for great prices. Many rarities that I've been looking for have also been found at this shop. If you're looking to add more records to your collection this is where you want to go.
I used to come here all the time when I was a McGill student back in the 2000s. They’ve moved downstairs now but the vibe is still much the same and the selection is still great. There are a ton of new arrival “usages” if you like to dig through the crates and there is a nice mix of well-categorized new releases and preowned vinyl.
