I cannot say enough good things about the team at Chats Montreal including Dr. Nadine Desautels, Mara and Janet. It shows that they truly care about animals; when our cat was sick recently, they checked in by phone many times to ensure the treatment was working well. They also correctly identified the gender of our cat which had been sterilized and misgendered for the first 10 years of its life. Vet services are in general pricey, that’s the sad reality of having a pet but I find their services top notch quality and extremely empathetic and caring. Would recommend to anyone with a cat on the island of Montreal.
Chats Montreal cared for my cat for 10 years until we had to move to vet closer to home. However, the new vet has closed, and my elderly cat became unwell recently and Chats Montreal welcomed us back for an emergency appointment and fantastic care. Everyone, from reception, to the vet tech (Maria?) to Dr Desaultes has been so kind and thorough and took their time to figure out what's going on with Steeners. She's already seeming a lot better from the treatment provided, and I'm so relieved that she's in good hands as we figure out how to make her remaining years happy and healthy.
A wonderful vet for cats. I've had great appointments, including annual exams and one emergency appointment. They fit me in on the same day and offered great treatment options for an affordable price. The doctor is very kind and gentle with cats. Highly recommend for any cat owner!
