Been there a few times and I always pay with a card and the machine has no option for a tip. Everytime I go and want to leave change for a tip, the owner refuses and just wants me to leave a google review. They do a very good job and price is not expensive. Very nice employees/owner.

I had two pairs of boots repaired, one of which was very damaged, almost destined for the trash (hole on the side of the sole and at the front, soles detached, worn interior). The shoemaker assessed them, informed me clearly and kindly that it would be a challenge and that it was possible it would be ugly. No promises, he was very honest. The result? My boots were ready in a week when I was told two, and they are like new!! The second pair was pierced at the end and the heel worn, they were given to me all shiny and well sealed, I didn't recognize them at first glance as they seem new now!! THANKS!
