About CRUNCH LACHINE
CRUNCH LACHINE is a gym that has been operating for a long time. Some members have been attending since it was originally Energie Cardio. The staff is generally considered friendly and the reception staff is always ready to help and answer questions. The gym offers extended opening hours, allowing members to avoid busy times. While it has the essentials like a squat rack, heavy dumbbells, and some decent machines, there are noted issues with the equipment. There is a lack of upper body machines, particularly pec/dec machines, and some squat racks are placed right next to mirrors, making it hard to adjust weights. Additionally, barbells are often scattered around, making it difficult to find the right one. Hygiene is a concern, as some members don't clean machines after use. The locker room facilities are outdated and in need of renovation. Members have mentioned a lack of gym etiquette, with some using multiple stations or benches at once. The sled path is often used for activities other than its intended purpose, and the gym struggles with members taking social media pictures, which can be disruptive. Peak hours can be quite busy, with groups taking up space. Members suggest hiring more experienced staff who can better manage these issues. Despite the challenges, the gym is considered to be very reasonably priced, and many find it a great gym at a practical location.
I really enjoy working out at Fitness Crunch Gym. The equipment is modern and always in good condition, and the gym is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the environment very comfortable. It’s a great place for both beginners and experienced people. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to stay fit and motivated.
Clean and functional with helpful and respectful employees. Dishonest of the company to announce itself at $15/mo when the price is roughly double that when you take into account all the hidden fees. We have everything we need for basic training, but machines are missing. Sometimes we have to be very patient to finish our workouts because all the machines are busy, even outside of peak hours. Some machines are in poor condition. Crunch should invest more in this branch given the price we pay.
A compact, but efficient gym...
Pros:
- Has the essentials (squat rack, some decent machines, heavy dumbbells, etc).
- Relatively cheap
Cons:
- They run group classes right in the middle of the gym
- Some of the squat racks are placed right next to mirrors, making it hard to adjust the weight on barbells
- It can be quite busy at times
