This review is strictly for a visit at the Emergency Room. We arrived at 7:45am on a Monday morning, and left at 12:30pm. The good: Service is pretty quick compared to other hospitals, but I assume it will take longer if you arrive later in the day. Nurses do regular check ups on patients waiting whose situation is a bit more urgent. We were sent back to the emergency room to wait to be called by a more specific doctor and we did not wait long. This second doctor (and his supervisor later on) were very friendly. Nurses very friendly. Nurses knows how to take blood samples (they usually take 25 samples a day, each). Bathrooms close to waiting area and clean. The bad: One of the security agents made people moved from the front seats (reserved for people with colds) to the back, even though the back was full and some of the people in front were older. Toilet doors locks weirdly. People sleeps on seats, taking three or four seating spaces even though room is getting clogged, and no one tells them to move. Machine to pick number not visible enough, or absent if you come in from other door. Easy to get lost in hospital due to renovations. Emergency doctor not as friendly as other two. This is a hospital and you get what you expect in Quebec. But the friendly staff makes the experience better.
