After a year of no haircuts, it was definitely time for me to get my terrible, dead ends chopped off. Since I live right around the corner from here, I thought I would try it out! While you can see some wear and tear (literal tears in the couch/chairs), the establishment is very nice and there is a lot of space. Every time I walked by, I had always seen the same woman working. Once again, she was alone as I entered. During the usual haircut chit chat, I found out that her name is Carol and she owns the Salon. She works here by herself except for Saturdays when a girl comes in to help because it is the busiest day. SO if anyone reads this who is a hairdresser from Montreal, call her- she's looking to rent her chairs out! Anyways, she is amazingly nice and I absolutely loved having my hair done there. I always hate having to speak to hairdressers but I enjoyed our conversation and when she was done, I almost wanted to cry I was so happy by how it turned out. I had brought a picture, and she decided to do it differently to have my hair help frame my face. She said just because I'm a Mom now, it doesn't mean I need "Mom hair". Overall, I absolutely loved getting my hair done. It took about an hour and for a wash, cut and dry, its cost $40. Compared to other salons, this is quite a good price! I will definitely be going back. Carol is incredibly considerate and even dried my shirt before I left so i wouldn't be cold and have my freshly done hair get curly. (It got wet while she washed it, but that could happen anywhere since I didn't have the apron on yet). Definitely recommend this salon!
