First time at a spa of this magnitude, and it did not disappoint! I believe it might have been the coldest day of the year at that point (minus thirty-something), but we were still able to have a wonderful experience. The rituals were more enjoyable than we had anticipated, and we were able to able to enjoy four of them. Lunch at the restaurant was absolutely delightful, and the whole vibe was great. I didn’t get to experience the Kalla treatment this time, as it was quite busy, but I hear it is a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back again!

My husband and I had a very positive experience at Nordik. We went midday on a weekday in Jan so the place was not too busy. Everything was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. My massage treatment was excellent and very relaxing, thanks Sabri!
Nordik is expensive, but worth it for a treat - they have taken care to make every corner of the Spa Village and amenities attractive, luxurious and in tune with the beautiful landscape around it.

    The thermal experience:
It was one of the colder days we visited, but definitely worth the experience! They really thought about the start-to-finish experience, and it wasn't as crowded as people had warned us. We got to enjoy most of the saunas, hot + cold pools. The bathrooms were clean, and we were happy to have constant changes of towels because they froze so quickly.

    Food:
We had the bar food, which was delicious, and the servers were great. Honestly, one of the best parts of the experience was getting such good food -- which we didn't go in expecting.

    Thanks for the fab service!

This was my second time at the Spa Nordik. Both times I have found myself wishing they would reduce their entries by about 10% to make it a more relaxed visit with fewer waits. And they could have better signage. But a lovely way to spend an afternoon, and the lounge is delightful with nice food and beverages choices.

I'm a regular, and just realized I've never posted a review.
Clean, with the best variety of baths and saunas in this part of the World. Several restaurants and bars. Quiet places and social spaces. Clean and complete.
Variety of local beers is much appreciated. If they were cheaper I'd drink more. (by the way, tipping when you have to stand in line to be served and then carry your drink to your seat should not be so assertive).
The staff are well trained in customer service (something that's generally lacking these days, so it really strikes you at Nordik).
Sadly, the eucalyptus steam sauna was still closed, and I really count on that one for my asthmatic lungs. Seems to be closed about half the time.
Naturally, I'll be back, but will likely call ahead to find out about the eucalyptus sauna.

Not the place for moms to be. If your expecting dont go. Find somewheee else to go. So stressful. There is no pools you can go in if your pregnent except the infinity pool. (Still impossible to keep your bump out of the water).
And there is no exception or special rates for moms to be. And you must buy the pools to get access to the kalla pool. So if you dream about floating in a pool expect to pay 155.00 to have acces.

Also at check in I was told both my services were in the same area. (They were not)
No one checks on you the waiting room is empty and and the people who do work there ignore you to use the phone.
A mistake made on nordik staff part they still charge you for the full hour.
I left sore and stressed out. This place does not know how to support pregnant women. Not relaxing, to many stairs no clear direction on where to go. They just want your $$. I was crying once I realized I paid 103. To sit in a pool for 8 mins. Why even offer mom to be massages when there nothing else to do especially in the winter..

Overall a good experience. But like most things in life, there good and bad.
Good...nice range of pools and saunas. We had a 'towel' demo experience in one of the saunas. Lasted 10 minutes. It was very good and well worth doing. It did get hot on the top seats. Had to have a cold plunge quickly after it ended. Food was good.
Bad... we followed the 'accomodation' link on the website to book a package, room and spa. But turns out, that was NOT run by the Spa, but a separate business. That was really unclear and miss-leading. No difference in price, but the booking with them was cumbersome. Better to book the Spa directly.
Everyone is given a robe and towel, and these can be replaced when wet at anytime. But that also means, everyone has the same robe and footwear. So when I came out after a sauna, mine had gone missing, not a problem, except my reading glasses where in the pocket. They were never handed in, so lost. My footwear was also taken, they were my own, lost never to be found again.
So worth going, BUT, have distinctive footwear, don't put valuables in the pockets of the robe.
We did the Kalla, it was pleasant, but not worth the price.

The property is truly amazing but things seem to have gone downhill since my last visit.

The biggest disappointment was my massage. My therapist was unreal and very nice but I booked an hour in nature and my massage wasn't nearly an hour. They collect you to bring you to the treatment area exactly on time that your massage is supposed to start (3:15 in my case) so your time walking to your cabin, reviewing your med history, changing and waiting for your therapist to come back and arrange the table all cuts into your massage time, which finished exactly at 4:15. Kind of a scam as anywhere else brings you in early to prepare, etc. so you have the full hour.

Changeroom bathrooms were quite dirty throughout the day and the tampon bags from stalls were just thrown into the main changeroom garbage in the common area. Toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) were low quality and watered down. Only two lotion dispensers near the sink, also watery.

Food at the restaurants was quite good as always and priced as what you would expect.

    Staff were overall pleasant.

My mom and I received this as a Christmas gift. We were set on experiencing the whole spa and feel we did a pretty good job trying! We went on a very cold day and it was still very busy, but we were also able to enjoy ourselves and keep warm with there many saunas, outdoor hot tubs and warming relaxation rooms. It was one of the best experiences and words are hard to describe it. You must experience it for yourself. (One side note, make sure to do your research ahead of time because you have to prebook any treatments or massages and it helps to give you an idea of what to bring and how to best experience the spa)
