I typically take the ferry twice each summer (to the island and back to Labrador side). I've found the staff to be helpful. always keep in mind ferry travels on Newfoundland time.
Labrador Marine Inc. offers great service with organized boarding and a good selection of food on the Qajaq ferry. Passengers note the importance of Newfoundland time for scheduling, as the company runs on time even in bad weather. However, the small parking lot fills up quickly, and some facilities, like the men's washroom, need repair.

I think I am on the 10:30 ferry but… read full review
