Atlantic Fitness Centre is a welcoming gym with a lot of equipment and a great atmosphere. It can get busy at times, but staff and members are friendly and helpful. There are numerous machines, including free weights, machines, and cardio options, along with plenty of squat racks and free weight areas. The environment is clean and well-maintained, with two floors featuring main workout areas, a cardio section, and private rooms. The stand-up tanning beds are highly praised for their quality and affordability. The staff are friendly, and trainers like Logan and Chris are available to help motivate and inspire members. Dropped in a for couple of mornings while visiting PEI. The staff and clientele were very friendly, the day passes were affordable and there was a wide cross section of people working out. The faculty is possibly bit dated but has everything you need, it was nice to have some old school iron to throw around. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to work on their fitness.
Great gym- but can we please do something about the bathroom stalls doors situations… there is only a couple inches between the door and the toilet making it difficult to get in and out of. Can we also enforce hygiene polices, a specific group of people make their areas smell disgusting,, if you know what I mean.
I joined the AFC a little over a year ago, and renewed my membership last month. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful in assisting you reach your fitness goals. The space is huge with two floors and lots of machines, weights and studios. I highly recommend the AFC to anyone if they have been thinking about getting into (or back into) shape. The fact that they also collect bottles (and do Xmas drives) to support the Humane Society just further convinces me I joined a great place.
