Can’t say enough good things about McKenna’s hardwood floors. Brian and his team did a fantastic job on refinishing our hardwood floors. Our ~70 year old home still has the original red oak hardwood floors. We hadn’t realized how much yellowing had occurred over the last 30 years. Brian’s estimate was spot on, and the end result exceeded our expectations. They made it clear that not all of the stains would come up. There was minimal mess. There will be dust, there will be odor, but there was much less dust than we expected. I chose Brian McKenna over two other quotes to sand and refinish the wood floors in three rooms of our 1810 building, based on his experience with historic homes and his clear commitment to doing the job right. After the third coat, a close inspection showed excellent workmanship across 100% of the floors, finished cleanly right up to the existing quarter round. The fourth and final coat is drying as I write this.
The work was completed promptly, which I also appreciated, and the care instructions and materials provided were very helpful.

Great quality work! I've used McKenna's for 2 projects in my very old home with original pine flooring. Our floors needed lots of repairs and they always do an amazing job. The floors look great, thank you! I 100% recommend them to anyone who has an old home like mine and wants to maintain the character of their old floors.
