I had my classic 1980s Arthur E Smith Banjo serviced here and they knew what they were doing, alerting me to issues that arose and communicating what each step would cost. Only downside is that they weren't open when I got off work so I had to take off work to drop off and pick up.
I recently had an old viola and violin in for repair and reconditioning. They had them finished sooner than estimated. They look and sound fabulous now. They even work on them in front of you. Their prices are great and their craftsmanship are superior. Thank You and God bless You's.
I went to Bluett Bros. to have my very cheap student violin restrung. Mark took the time to explain to me the differences of strings and install them on my violin. Before going to the shop I had an idea of the quality they produced based on the website and I was a little nervous that I would receive poor service for having such a cheap violin but that was not the case. It was a very neat little shop with a very humble vibe.
