I had Therapy for my arm/shoulder after surgery. Specialty Physical Therapy did a great job with getting my arm back. They are professional but still an easy to talk to group. It was a pleasure to go & do the work needed to improve myself. Also enjoyed the conversations & fellow clients that came in for Therapy. Would highly recommend Kim & her staff if in need of some Therapy.
I was in a pretty nasty car wreck in Philadelphia on March 2nd 2024... I was the passenger and we were t-boned. Thank God we all were ok in the sense that we could have gotten really badly hurt. I ended up with some nasty whiplash. The pain was, and I stress WAS, horrible! I, under doctor's orders, was told to come to specialty physical therapy. And I really want to say that I hated the thought of it because I had some bad experiences with therapy elsewhere. But, of course I wasn't in a place to say no way. I am a Physical Therapy Assistant student and work at Specialty Physical Therapy. Last year I started a physical therapy assistant program and joined Dr. Kim's team to help with reception and technician tasks. I'm incredibly thankful I crossed paths with this clinic! It has been such a blessing to receive mentorship outside the classroom and be immersed in the daily activities of a physical therapy clinic. SPT strikes a more personal chord with me, too. As someone who has experienced medical trauma I can't tell you what it means to be a part of a clinic that slows down and tends to its patients in a focused and relational way.
