Geek Squad, the tech repair and installation service provided by Best Buy, offers a wide range of services to help customers get the most out of their technology. With over 1,100 locations across the country, Geek Squad agents are available to provide repair, installation, and setup services for computers, tablets, TVs, home theaters, car stereos, GPS systems, cell phones, and home appliances. Customers have praised the level of customer service they have received from Geek Squad. One customer, Marianne, visited the Willow Grove, PA location and was assisted by Jeremiah, who thoroughly tested her laptop and informed her that the battery was completely dead, but out of warranty. Although Marianne had TotalTech coverage, she decided not to get the battery replaced, as she didn't need to take her laptop anywhere. Another customer, who had an appointment to inspect their overheated PS5, was assisted by Julio at the same location. The customer was "floored at the level of customer service" they received. Coincidentally, the customer's 2-year Geek Squad protection was set to expire that day, and the store had just received a shipment of brand-new PS5 consoles. The Geek Squad agents provided the customer with a brand-new PS5 God of War Ragnarok edition free of charge, even though the customer had only wanted to clean the fan on their 2-year-old console. Overall, Geek Squad has consistently provided exceptional service and support to its customers, going above and beyond to ensure their technology is repaired, installed, and set up to their satisfaction.
I made an appointment to visit the Willow Grove, PA Geek Squad store a few months ago. My problem was that my laptop was not holding a charge even after being plugged into electrical outllet overnight. I only had to wait a few minutes, plus I was a little early for my appointment. Jeremiah helped me by doing tests on the unit. He told me that my battery was completely dead. It was out of warranty. I do have TotalTech coverage, which I could have used to pay for the installation of a new battery; but with my laptop, I needed to purchase my battery myself elsewhere. Had an appointment set to inspect my PS5 that overheated. Julio assisted me at this location. I am floored at the level of customer service I received. Whatever you do purchase 2yr Geek Squad protection on your devices. My system over heated last night so I brought it in today. Come to find out my 2yr protection was set to expire today! They just got a shipment of brand new PS5’ in this morning. Talk about fate! They gave me a brand spanking new PS5 God of War Ragnarok edition free of charge when all I wanted to do was clean the fan on my 2yr old PS5!!! Bro I’m floored \\u0026 grateful!
