Williamsport Dental & Dentures

Sincerely the worst dental office and overall service experience at this place. There are one or two kind employees here the rest lack a sense of compassion, dignity, accountability, respect, and a lot of other things you’d hope someone in the healthcare field would have.
Went here for work on several teeth as they are one of few places that take dental insurance, had scheduled appointments for fillings in a few teeth and day of appt in November I get a text that says no provider is available and they have to reschedule fillings. Earliest reschedule date was February so when I go in Feb for fillings I’m told my X-rays are now expired and they still can’t do filling that was postponed and I had to pay for X-rays again (for tooth supposed to be filled in November) , pay for X-rays and schedule filling for next available in April and day of appointment in April shocker they cancel again rescheduled to May .. go finally in May and dentist says teeth that needed filling now needs root canal and cannot be fixed and I need to go to a specialist. I was obviously upset as these teeth needed fillings for months and they cancelled over and over (and I couldn’t go to a new dentist 1. Assuming I wasn’t going to be rescheduled so much 2. there aren’t many dentist who take insurance ,3.the teeth weren’t hurting yet when they just needed fillings , 4. dentists have long waits and I was already established here ) but now I am having pain and have significantly more time and money to spend on fixing the teeth. The manager spoke to me after this appt I was very upset and said she would discuss a resolution and totally understood my distress caused by their delays. Fast forward to this week I go to the office for an appt and am called into the managers office at which point she gaslights me saying it is my fault for the delays “bc I cancelled appts too” referring to appts in 2019 for different work (I went in 2019 then used a different dentist until 2024 when I came back to this office due to insurance changes so I simply didn’t use them during this time) this manager then said she wasn’t sure what I wanted her to do and “the teeth could’ve eventually needed root canals anyway” which again, the appointments they cancelled I had her pull up and read what was scheduled and it was fillings - so implying they could’ve needed root canals anyway is unreal. Any tooth could need a root canal eventually ?! Obviously not doing a filling over and over contributes to worsening of my teeth but they are dodging any accountability.
Icing on the cake - every time you walk in they ask how you’re paying for the visit and what’s due. Every time I say I am using my care credit card. Sweet they send me back I assume it’s taken care of. Well for multiple visits they did not charge my appts to my care credit and instead the bill kept piling and piling and now there’s such a high balance and my care credit amount was dropped from thousands to hundreds for approval due to non use and when I said why would they not charge it every appointment if that’s how I am paying?! She said yes I see that’s what we should’ve done idk why it wasn’t sorry I have no explanation. I’m like you just don’t get paid and let the bill pile up ?! She says yea idk why no one ran it each time. I’m like so over this long and every time me saying care credit no one thought to charge it? She says yea idk what to tell you but there’s a balance now for you to pay.

At this point I’m shaking I’m so angry with the absolute lack of customer service, consideration , compassion, accountability, neglect for treatment. Truly do not go here. Wait on a list for another dentist and save yourself the anger, pain, debt, etc.

My experience could not have been better. Shannon is a wonderful person. She definitely is a people person. She really cares about her clients and is very passionate and professional!!

good service the dental assistant was fabulous even got me a cover up when I was cold.

Call me 3 weeks after i scheduled an appointment to ask why i scheduled it, then after waiting a month to be seen an hour before the appointment they cancel me even though i have a cracked tooth, maybe you guys should have more than 1 dentist..I won’t be returning, not impressed

Great Place and location with friendly nice people to do you’re Dental Services. I greatly Appreciate the service and the kindness with the type of procedures recommended by these professionals. You can not highly get a better way of getting what you need at the right time and place. Officially speaking the best way of getting your money and in the most efficient way.

Staff was very nice, professional , and courteous. I was taken promptly at my appointment. Satisfied with the entire experience.
