I've been going to Zena'S shop before it was at this hazel street location. She's been micro braiding my and my teen daughters hair for the past seven years. Yes it takes long due to the micro braids. I've never had a bad experience with them. Call a day or two before you go to make an appointment. They don't have enough staff for all walk-ins. They ask do dreadlocks and weaves and they take a lot of time as well. I call two days before and get a time as early as possible and never on a Thursday or Friday the busiest days of the week. Make your appointment on a Monday or Tuesday morning.

I can only speak as a male who had my dreads done recently. She was pretty fast at doing them and if you wash them beforehand she charges less. I spent 60 dollars all together and was satisfied. I would just suggest that you call first and make an appointment first. DO NOT JUST SHOW UP or you might be left waiting for a couple hrs until someone gets there
