I am a little disappointed I must say. I have been a huge fan of this spa for the ambience and of course the massages for many years. This most recent experience though, has me sad. I finally got my husband to go, not only was it exceptionally chilly, the music was too loud to actually relax you and every single door squeaked so incredibly loudly that just when you found yourself settling in someone burst through the ultra squeaky doors jolting you out of it! Years ago they spoke softly now it's at full volume and it really took from the experience. Picked this spa for a girls day out. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and shown around. The spa is dated with its decor and in need of renovation. There was a sauna and steam room available for coed use - both were nice. The relaxation room had comfy leather chaise lounges and blankets - but was in an area that was a passage between front of spa and back rooms where treatments are done - making for foot traffic and noise that impacts your ability to relax. The three treatments we chose were a massage, facial and pedicure. The hot stone massage was excellent (coming from someone who has been to many spas and had many massages!). It was a very relaxing atmosphere and never made you feel rushed. Provided water and snacks before and after my time there. The steam sauna was great to enjoy after my massage. They even let you bring your own wine to enjoy.
